[why not] Café is an integration space in Ottensen, inside the Altona district. Breakfast, cakes, coffee and a cultural programme that brings together long-time neighbours and people who just arrived in Hamburg. Open Tuesday to Sunday, 10 to 18.
The sound
Small format, quiet afternoons, acoustic guitar, a quartet without drums, conversations with musicians. Not the place for a full hard-salsa orchestra — the place for a son and clave trio you can hear up close.
